Clouds are "visual tricksters". The challenge in creating cloud paintings is to balance the statuesque shapes (especially cumulonimbus - my favourites), with their diffuse atmospheric substance. Clouds are definitely one of my favourite subjects.
I like to infuse my cloud paintings with a joyful yet dramatic feeling. This portfolio shows a wide selection of sizes from mini clouds that are 5"x7" (framed), to dramatic large ones, up to 48"x48".
