I often walk down 7th or 8th Avenues to do errands. What amazes me is how lush the surrounding foliage of bushes, trees and flowers are at different times of the year. These paintings remind me of how beautiful and nurturing nature is, even in the simplest environments - a potted plant or balcony garden.
